Over 130 years of passion for theBavarian art of brewing.. The basis for the outstanding quality of our beer.

Bavarian Purity Law

The most famous brewing regulation is the decree issued by William IV in 1516 for the entire Duchy of Bavaria. It stated: In particular, we want to ensure that henceforth no more ingredients than barley, hops and water are used for the beers served in our cities and markets as well as in the countryside. Since 1906, German law has stipulated that the only ingredients that may be used in beer production are water, hops, malt and yeast.
We brew every ERDINGER in strict accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law.
All our beers are guaranteed to be:
In accordance with Bavarian brewing traditions
Of the highest quality
Brewed in Erding
Without artificial colourings or flavourings
Without any other additives

Malt

Malt gives beer its body and its colour. Our experienced brewmasters select the right wheat and barley varieties for each type of beer.

Hops
